Bio:
Coming from a rich Chinese cultural background, where Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practices were deeply ingrained in daily life and traditions, I have cherished memories of assisting my grandmother in brewing cooling herbal tea during sweltering summer days and partaking in stomach-soothing congee the day after indulging in a lavish Chinese New Year feast. TCM's principle of Yang-Sheng, emphasizing preventive self-care, guided us to adapt our diet and lifestyle in accordance with the seasons and our individual health conditions. TCM treatments, such as acupuncture, were employed to address ailments, restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit, and promote overall well-being. The seamless integration of TCM into our lives was so intrinsic that oftentimes we were unaware of its influence. As a young adult, I moved to the United States to obtain a master’s degree in business. During school, I interned as a marketing specialist for an acupuncturist on Long Island. I was surprised to see how his patients, mostly American, embraced and were helped by TCM. After school, I moved to Boston to work as a marketing data analyst in a different field. A couple of years of working in front of a computer caused me chronic neck and back pain. All the tests from my primary care physician came back normal and they did not have much to recommend. I decided to turn to TCM. A combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine helped me tremendously and I decided to switch my career path: I wanted to help people by sharing my understanding of TCM wisdom and holistic healing. Today, I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in Arizona. I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. I firmly believe in integrating a range of therapies to prevent and treat disease and promote optimal health. I am passionate about helping you reach your optimal health goals, and I can't wait to walk with you through this journey

Bio:
Having been born and raised in China, where the rich culture emphasized the use of herbal remedies, food therapies, and physical therapy for healthcare in daily life, I developed a profound curiosity about the ancient wisdom of traditional practitioners and their pursuit of longevity and optimal health. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to study under a traditional holistic healer in China, embarking on a formal training journey. During this time, my focus was primarily on delving deep into traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese nutrition, and Qi Gong, a practice rooted in the cultivation and flow of Qi, the very foundation of acupuncture. Subsequently, I relocated to the United States and spent nearly six years working at an esteemed herb shop. This invaluable experience exposed me to a diverse range of natural healing modalities, such as Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Aromatherapy, and Western nutrition, among others. This immersive engagement not only equipped me with a comprehensive approach to addressing local health concerns through various healing paths but also allowed me to discover the potential for integration between holistic and Western medicine. Upon settling in Tucson, I enrolled in the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, where I dedicated myself to earning a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Now a licensed Acupuncturist in Arizona, I synergistically combine my extensive background in natural healing with the knowledge and skills acquired through my formal education. This enables me to provide compassionate and tailored care to each of my clients, working collaboratively to achieve outcomes that align with their unique needs. My treatment repertoire encompasses a range of modalities, including acupuncture, the use of both Eastern and Western herbs, cupping, moxibustion, and nutritional guidance. With utmost dedication and a commitment to excellence, I strive to be a trusted partner in your healthcare journey, supporting your well-being through an integrated approach that honors both ancient wisdom and contemporary medical advancements.

Our Approach
As practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we wholeheartedly embrace a holistic approach to treatments. Our utmost dedication is to assist you in finding harmony, both physically and mentally, while enhancing your overall health and well-being. We are here to support you on your healing journey and provide compassionate care that nurtures your mind, body, and spirit.
Initial Intake
Since TCM treats the body as a whole, we start by checking your health history and asking you thorough health-related questions. We will take our time to listen to your struggles and concerns and answer any questions you have before proceeding to your first treatment.
*Patient information is processed in compliance with HIPAA
Tongue and Pulse
Tongue and pulse are two of the most important diagnostic tools used in TCM. We will assess their qualities during your visits.
Variances in these qualities allow us to determine whether you are in a state of excess or deficiency and which organ systems may be compromised.
Treatment
We will create and perform a customized treatment using acupuncture and a variety of TCM modalities (moxa, cupping, gua sha, electroacupuncture, ear seeds, etc) in each session. We want to not only address your current conditions but also take care of the underlying root causes.
Plan
After your first acupuncture session, you will get a clear treatment plan to show your healing path going forward. Each plan is created based on a realistic assessment of your current conditions. We will update your plan when needed as your treatment progresses and condition improves.
